Well, it’s been another wonderful retreat and my 8th one to attend in the Southeast region. This year we were at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in the Barnhart lodge. I was able to take my new Ashford Knitters Loom and practice and also worked on a few other perpetual projects. We had a great meal at the Ale House and also a fun time seeing the new Black Mountain Yarn Shop (thank you for the group photo). I was also happy that Luna Lola sponsored our group for the third year in a row with wonderful gift bags with Rowan yarn, tea bags, and Soak! We also had an informative and fun visit to the Last Penny Alpaca Farm. I’m already looking forward to next fall!!! Thank you Rusty Boyd for organizing our great weekend!!!
