Made this from a variety of acrylic "donations" to my stash that I would otherwise never use. The colors seem to actually go together quite well. Glad to finally have it done!
Baby Blanket with BABY!

I made this baby blanket for a colleague's baby shower. I used Bernat softee and a G hook. I added a simple dc ruffle edge and made it as a giant granny square.
Got some yarn sale yarn from my friend Teresa and think that most of it was Lion Brand Homespun. I decided to make a giant granny square afghan and I think it turned out great!

Granny square lap afghan
I have finally finished this small lap granny square afghan! Took about 20 hours to complete.
Well, it was a surprise - and now that the surprise is over, I decided I really don't like this yarn color which is Yarn Bee's arctic blue. I like the texture of it but just not the color mixture. It's kind of like a weird camouflage... I would like this yarn a lot more... Continue Reading →
Baby Blanket Finished, Shipped, and Received
Here is a baby blanket I made for Briana's baby who arrived yesterday evening 🙂 I made up this design with four large granny squares that were 15 rows wide, then did a single crochet joining stitch then used a different baby yarn for the final border.
