Gift scarf

Found some wonderful merino superwash bulky yarn called katia fabula from Barcelona Spain to make a scarf. I used a half double crochet through the back loop stitch which makes a nice ribbing effect. This will make a great birthday gift!

Rainbow extra wide scarf

Here is an extra wide scarf I made from two skeins of seastorm yarn bee rainbow wool. I thought it would come out longer and be more like a shawl so I guess that's why people follow patterns. However, it still turned out to be a nice wide scarf. I crocheted this in a simple... Continue Reading →

Mango moon scarf

Here is a fun scarf made out of Mango Moon 100% viscose. It is very bulky and I used a K crochet hook with a basic fan stitch. It had a nice weight and drapes well! However, this yarn was incredibly difficult to work with so it'll be quite some time before I use it... Continue Reading →

Multicolor fan stitch scarf

This was a quick scarf to make and I really liked this yarn. The scarf is made from two skeins of classic shades universal yarn. This was the first time I tried doing a fan stitch which is a little bit different from a shell stitch. I'll have to make some more in different colors!

Green shell scarf

Finally finished another shell stitch crocheted scarf. I used three skeins of Patons 100% organic cotton yarn which was great to work with.

Pink shell stitch scarf

I finally learned a simple shell stitch and made this crocheted scarf. The yarn is valley yarns 'Springfield' and is 88% cotton and 12% nylon. It measures about 80" x 6" but I imagine will shrink a little after washing. I really like this stitch and will probably us it a lot more!

Lemongrass

Finally finished this double crochet bulky scarf. Of course, it'll have to wait to be worn next year since it's already in the 80's now! I used two skeins of lion brand wool ease thick and quick lemongrass yarn.
