Made this quick and easy scarf with a half double crochet stitch.
Colorful skinny scarf
Used a basic half double crochet stitch for this quick and easy skinny scarf. It could also be used as a belt.
Garnet and black scarf
Made this wonderful scarf from a vintage crochet stitch book an it turned out really nice. Must use this yarn again!
Valentine’s Day Scarf
Made this scarf for Val from her mother's yarn stash she gave me so she'd have something to remember her mom by 🙂
Blue Silk Mohair Scarf
Made this loom knitted scarf for Saskia from fine silk mohair yarn. Update: I made this scarf using the smallest (blue) circular loom knitting loom only using every other peg. There was no pattern so just keep going till it's long enough then cast off and tie ends in knots. It's that simple 🙂
Lustra Feather and Fan Scarf
For this scarf I used Berroco Lustra yarn which is 50% Peruvian Wool and 50% Tencel Lyocell. It's a wonderful yarn to work with and the feather and fan stitch works great with it!
Countryside Ruffle Scarf
For this scarf I used Sundance Countryside yarn which is Acrylic/Mohair/Wool and used a simple ruffle pattern. It's a modified version of the LoDo scarf pattern on Ravelry.
LoDo Scarf
I found this great pattern from the yarn shop in Summerville, SC - The Village Knittery (which is a great shop by the way). The person working there found this scarf pattern on Ravelry and printed it out for me. I used two skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca and modified the pattern slightly so it... Continue Reading →
Cinnamon ripple scarf
This scarf is really wider than I had planned but I went with it anyway. It is super soft yet really thick. I used two strands of yarn: Regia sock wool and Nashua kid mohair in cinnamon. It turned out really nice 🙂
Ripple scarf
This is my first attempt at a double crochet in back loop ripple stitch. I used countryside sundance yarn and a J hook. I decided to switch to a wooden hook and liked it better than aluminum. I had never tried to do a dc2tog stitch until now and learned on YouTube. Overall it turned... Continue Reading →
