Colorful universal scarf
Hot off the hook!
Pink and white scarf
Finally getting back into the crochet groove :). Here is a pink and white scarf in three types of yarns in single half double and double crochet stitches.
Striped scarf
This is a jumble of nylon, silk, cotton, merino wool, and microfiber. It turned very bumpy but soft from the sublime merino wool. See photos for yarns used. I also used a bamboo 8mm hook and the stitches are all half double crochet.
Baby Blanket with BABY!
Baby Nigella thinks this new baby blanket is OK! (see next post too).
Baby blanket
I made this baby blanket for a colleague's baby shower. I used Bernat softee and a G hook. I added a simple dc ruffle edge and made it as a giant granny square.
Cotton dishcloth
Made this cotton dishcloth in about an hour. I used an h size hook and it's in half double crochet then a single crochet around the edge with a double crochet ruffle border.
Noro coaster set
Finished this set in two days. I decided to try and felt them and after two washes I got a nice effect.
Lana bambu purples scarf
I used this wonderful Lana bambu yarn to make this scarf. The stitch is a half double crochet through the back loop which makes little ridges and gives the fabric a wonderful texture.
