His was a quick wrap to make. I used two skeins of a brushed acrylic yarn.
Garnet and black scarf
Made this wonderful scarf from a vintage crochet stitch book an it turned out really nice. Must use this yarn again!
Fleece baby blanket
I haven't posted anything in a while but I have been working on many projects. One thing I recently completed is this fleece baby blanket. I used Northland Comfy Fleece and the recommended crochet hook. It's basically a giant solid granny square.
Arm chair remote caddy
I used some left over yarn to create this arm chair caddy for remote controls. I used a half double crochet stitch and it is 27" long with the fold over part.
Homespun afghan
Got some yarn sale yarn from my friend Teresa and think that most of it was Lion Brand Homespun. I decided to make a giant granny square afghan and I think it turned out great!
Blue baby blanket
Finished this very simple baby blanket last week and have heard it's a hit! I used yard sale yarn so I don't know what brand it was but it worked up quickly 🙂 thanks for the yarn, Teresa!
Blue Wrap
Finished and delivered this birthday gift! It's a wrap/capelet and I used two strands of yarn for the body: cashmere/merino and silk mohair. I didn't use a pattern either - guess I should write these things down as I do them!
Basic red dish cloth
Finished a dish cloth but not in red. I used lily sugar and cream cotton yarn in summer prints instead of red. The pattern is available at http://www.bestfreecrochet.com/2011/12/24/358-basic-red-dishcloth-maggie-weldon-maggies-crochet/
Baby afghan
Finished this little baby blanket/afghan! It turned out a little funky with the colors but that makes it more unique 🙂
New patterns or dishcloths
I spent the weekend experimenting with different patterns and making the the size of dishcloths. I used cotton yarn.
