Shell Stitch Baby Blanket

Ok, I’ve got to say, I’m extremely proud of this baby blanket!  This was commissioned by a friend for his new baby nephew.  I used Caron Simply Soft in blue and white and did a basic crochet shell stitch throughout.  The border is one round of single crochet in blue, then double crochet in white, then a tiny shell stitch outer border that places (sc, ch 3, sc) in every other stitch.  For any baby blanket I make in the future, I will certainly use this pattern (that I made up)…

Soft dune scarf

This is a very soft yarn because it’s a two strand yarn and one strand is mohair. The other strand is flashy making for a neat combination. I used a basic fan stitch and two skeins of Dune by Trendsetter Yarns.

Plum Antonia scarf

I used four balls of Adrienne vittadini Antonia yarn for this great scarf in plum. I used a fan stitch. This is great yarn to work with!
