One hour no pattern dish cloth

As you can see, this is a very plain and simple one hour dish cloth made from blue cotton yarn. It’s all double crochet stitch with a crude shell border :)

Baby Blanket Finished, Shipped, and Received

Here is a baby blanket I made for Briana’s baby who arrived yesterday evening :-)  I made up this design with four large granny squares that were 15 rows wide, then did a single crochet joining stitch then used a different baby yarn for the final border.

Noro Wine Cozy

Well, I set out to make a scarf but didn’t like the feel of the yarn SO I got inspired to make this instead! I used one skein of Noro Yuzen wool silk mohair yarn and a simple shell stitch. I sewed together the sides to make a sleeve and turned it inside out. Then with the remaining yarn I made the knitted tension cord for the bottle neck. I think I have finally found a great use for this yarn!

Pink shell stitch scarf

I finally learned a simple shell stitch and made this crocheted scarf. The yarn is valley yarns ‘Springfield’ and is 88% cotton and 12% nylon. It measures about 80″ x 6″ but I imagine will shrink a little after washing. I really like this stitch and will probably us it a lot more!
