Gamecock Scarf
Last week I finally made a lunch hour trip to In the Loop on Devine St. in Columbia. I found some beautiful burgundy colored kid mohair by Nashua Handknits. I decided I’d combine it with some black Yarn Bee Brushed Boucle and see what would happen.

I used a Darice small round loom and started the knitting.

The completed scarf came out very nicely! The mohair was only 98 yards worth so I’ve found that about 100 yards makes a nice long scarf.

Pretty in Pink (Rose Quartz, Actually)
For another Christmas gift this year, I made another tube scarf on the small Darice round knitting loom. I call it Pretty in Pink (even though the yarn is Rose Quartz). The yarn I used is Patons Allure Rose Quartz and I used two skeins of 47 yards each. Someone this Christmas is going to be Pretty in Pink!

Multicolored Tube Scarf
This was a new idea for me to try. I used the smallest size of round knitting loom (blue) and then skipped every other peg. I used Yarn Bee Soft Illusion Super Bulky yarn from Hobby Lobby. The color, I hate to say, is “sassy”. Argh
Anyway, I was really pleased with how it turned out! It’s pretty long and I only used one skein which was 100 yards.
