Baby afghan

Finished this little baby blanket/afghan! It turned out a little funky with the colors but that makes it more unique :)

Blues Baby Blanket

This was commissioned and I used Caron Simply Soft in two shades of blue and white and did a basic crochet shell stitch throughout.  The border is one round of single crochet in blue, then double crochet in white, then a picot for the border.  There are 17 shells across and then 11 rows of the blue colors which are 4 shells wide (can you tell i made up the pattern?) :-)

USC Gamecock Baby Blanket

Finished another baby blanket! This one is going to a USC Gamecock fan to be :-)

Shell Stitch Baby Blanket

Ok, I’ve got to say, I’m extremely proud of this baby blanket!  This was commissioned by a friend for his new baby nephew.  I used Caron Simply Soft in blue and white and did a basic crochet shell stitch throughout.  The border is one round of single crochet in blue, then double crochet in white, then a tiny shell stitch outer border that places (sc, ch 3, sc) in every other stitch.  For any baby blanket I make in the future, I will certainly use this pattern (that I made up)…

Baby blanket

This is a giant granny square baby blanket. I used baby’s first yarn by lion brand.

Baby Blanket Finished, Shipped, and Received

Here is a baby blanket I made for Briana’s baby who arrived yesterday evening :-)  I made up this design with four large granny squares that were 15 rows wide, then did a single crochet joining stitch then used a different baby yarn for the final border.
